The AGM will be held at the Whistledown Hotel Warrenpoint Monday 18th April starting at 8.00 pm All welcome and have a say on the events for the incoming year.

Start of New Season-Show Jumping Special Offer on Opening Night

Our regular Friday night activities at the club grounds Moygannon start Friday 29th April at 7.00pm. Membership and fees remain the same as last year. Come along and join in whether an existing member or someone joining for the first time you will be very welcome. As an opener if you join then you will get a free jumping round. We are planning four Show Jumping Sessions from 29th April to 20th May. There will be schooling and novice and open courses for ponies and horses

Then we plan to repeat our successful Show-Cross League a mixture of showjumping and cross country jumps. This will have 70, 80, 90 and metre classes. The league will run for four weeks from Friday 27th May -Friday 17th June
Points will be awarded as follows
Clear round 5pts
One knock down/refusal 4pts
Two Knock down/refusal 3 pts
Three Knock down/refusal 2pts
Attendance 1 pt
More than 3 refusals or fall of horse or rider disqualification
You have plenty of time to get yourself and your horse/pony ready for the new season

NEWRY SHOW SHOW-CROSS

Come along to Newry Show at Derrymore House Grounds, Bessbrook and take part in Show-Cross event run by Warrenpoint Riding Club. This follows on from a very successful event last year. The Show-Cross will follow the completion of the Working Hunter and is planned start at 1.00pm
Have a day out at Newry Show bring the family take part or just enjoy the spectacle! Entries on the day, Prizes,
70, 80, 90 and metre classes.
Team event for the 80 cms class Make a team with your friends. Nominate team at entry.
